Home psychiatric care is a unique and innovative service offering remote treatment, replacing hospitalization in an open psychiatric ward. The online treatment includes a comprehensive and highly intensive package during the acute phase of the illness, followed by an adjustment of the intensity level according to the patient's condition.

Our remote hospitalization service is led by Dr. Asaf Caspi, Director of Psychiatry Department A at Sheba Medical Center, and Dr. Yael Barnea, Director of the BEYOND online psychiatric service at Sheba. 

The service offers treatment that blends online consultations with the treating team and digital technologies such as smartwatches, tablets, and a specialized app. It provides a complete care package that prioritizes accessibility, empathy, and constant availability. Our aim is to empower Sheba’s specialists to deliver exceptional care that caters to the comprehensive range of patient needs. This includes offering support to caregivers and tailoring the therapeutic approach to each individual's requirements.

In this service, we accept commitment forms (Form 17) from the Maccabi, Leumit, and Meuhedet health funds, following the agreements we have with them.
