Collaboration between Sheba BEYOND and Shenkar: presentation of the final project

Working together, Sheba BEYOND and Shenkar College focused on finding creative solutions for the challenges faced by patients once they're back home. Check out some of the brilliant projects showcased at their final exhibition.

The cooperation between Sheba BEYOND and the Shenkar School in the fields of design and engineering has spanned the entire year. Over the past year, students have focused on developing innovative solutions to ease the challenges faced by patients with varying degrees of severity who transitioned from hospital care to home-based treatment, all within an online framework.

While working on their projects, the students tackled challenges across multiple medical disciplines, including internal medicine, paediatrics, women's health, and psychiatry.

In an interview with the Walla website, Dr. Galia Barkai, who directs Sheba BEYOND, said: “Working with students from all sorts of backgrounds, not just medicine, helps us come up with creative and innovative ideas to transform the home into an ideal therapeutic environment for patients.”
